The autism spectrum or autistic spectrum is a range of neurodevelopmental disorders diagnosed as Autism, Asperger syndrome, pervasive developmental disorder, and childhood disintegrative disorder. These disorders are characterized by social deficits and communication difficulties, stereotyped or repetitive behaviours and interests, sensory issues, and in some cases, cognitive delays.  specific causes of autism spectrum disorders has yet to be found, many researchers have identified risk factors include genetics, prenatal and perinatal factors, neuroanatomical abnormalities, and environmental factors that trigger Autism.
