Sensory Integration in Autism

Children with autism spectrum disorder are often very sensitive to sounds, lights, smell, touch, taste and balance. Children with autism find trouble in learning to do this. Even their play schemes are also limited to few habitual manners.

Sensory integration therapy is to improve the ability of the child’s brain to process sensory information so the child can function more adaptively in daily activities
